Steppin It Up!!

Black crystal drinkware and crystal decanters/ fruitbowl. CLASSY!!!

New Accessories At The Shop

Brixton hats and accessories. Always a winner.
Woven belts are the shizz!!
We always buy jewelry so there's at least a few new ones at all times. The stand is an antique over-size wrench holder we got from our friends at Cleveland Art.
Another piece from Cleveland Art (also where we got most of our furniture), and one of my favorites. Perfect for headbands!
Finally some neckties!

We are always looking for new and unique accessories. There's a million lines out there but I think we're pretty good at digging through and finding the right looks for N°A.

Light tables

After moving downtown, we've been slowly adjusting to a smaller place and more of a 'city' dwelling space. Got these from our neighbor Carey who has an endless supply of random 'design-y' furniture and art. They're pretty sweet for movie time :)

The XX and Phantogram

Both Phantogram and The XX sounded better than their albums! Great show, and got to debut the latest wedding present - the tiny but high quality Canon powershot - thanks Jane and John!!!

FIFA x Louis Vuitton World Cup Trophy Holder

Need one of these for my little league trophies...

Measuring 36 cm in height, weighing 6.175 kg and made of solid 18-carat gold with a base of semi-precious malachiteone, it’s one of the most sought-after prizes in all of sports – it’s the FIFA World Cup Trophy. First awarded in 1930, the trophy has been on a wild ride for 80 years, but Louis Vuitton has unveiled the travel case to safely hold the football’s greatest prize. Commissioned by FIFA, this special order case was handmade by Louis Vuitton’s master craftsman in a historic Asnières workshop near Paris. Featuring Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram canvas, the travel case is fitted with the company’s signature brass lock and corners and has a dark brown lining.

Mickey Tee of the Year!

I really like it when a classic icon is flipped in a creative or different way. Mickey is a perfect example because he's just so recognizable that when seen in a different light it's a little extra jolting. I especially like the Minor Threat Mickey (1st one). Get them HERE.

Here are some past favorites:

Came across this today....

...And it really made me think. If you don't have the best relationship with your parents or family in general, or even if you have a great relationship, never hold back anything from them. Tell them you love them, you appreciate everything they've done for you, tell them if you think they did something wrong while you were growing up or if they just suck, but don't hold it in. One of my biggest regrets in life is not telling my father how much he was appreciated before he passed.

Anyway, here it is:
By Jacob Levenson

How does a son give his father a proper goodbye? He'd been pondering the question for years, and now he needed an answer I found my mother huddled on her king-size bed, the late-afternoon sunlight slanting through the bay window. My dad was struggling to breathe in the adjoining room. "Let him know you're here," she said. Her urgent, clipped tone told me everything I needed to know.
